Vitamins A raises the resistance to infection of cartilages, mucus and skin, helps at adapting the vision, and at the normal developing of the bones and the teeth, as well as in the good functioning of the liver, thyroids and other organs. Also, it contribute to regulating sleep and blood pressure, interviews in the metabolism of proteins and minerals (Especially that of calcium, fats and sweets), plays an important role in skin care and mucus care, as well as in stimulating growth.
Vitamin A has a special role in the well functioning of visual organs, and a lack of vitamin A leads to a decrease in the adaptation capacity of the eye to shallow light, and in more severe cases it cause an ulceration in the ocular mucus, which leads to blindness.

Vitamin A is indicated in affections like: photophobia, eye problems, acne, burns, ulcer, renal problems, cystitis, various liver affections, arterial problems, thyroid problems, enterocolitis and colitis, PMS problems, pregnancy problems and breastfeeding.
Vitamin A is found usually, in appreciable quantities only in products of animal origin. It can also be found in vegetable alimentary products, in fruits and vegetables, in products like :flour, peppers, green onion, spinach, tomatoes, apricots and prunes.
